Rainbow Zig-Zag Felted Shawl

This special piece is felted by hand in a town very close to Derya's hometown in Turkey. We were amazed to see them making these shawls by sprinkling wool on a piece of cotton fabric, heating it up and pounding it to make the felt and then trimming it to shape.

There are no sleeves, no armholes. This is a rectangular piece, with a slight curve in the middle of one of the long sides for the neck.

Some find the felt itchy on naked skin, so many of our customers wear this over something else.

This is not a vegan product, the felt is made from real sheep's wool.
